Ancient Forgery

Roman Fourree - is an ancient forgery of a denarius that has a base metal core plated with silver to look like its solid metal counterpart and circulated until the core broke through betraying them, but when the plating is intact they look just like the real thing (the term is derived from the French for "stuffed").
